Yousef Emami (Events)
Yousef Emami is a passionate inventor and researcher with a Ph.D. from the University of Porto, Portugal. His area of expertise lies in the intersection of wireless communications and artificial intelligence, particularly in the automation of data collection tasks in UAVs-assisted sensor networks, which have resulted in significant contributions in this field. During his doctoral studies at CISTER, Yousef focused on cruise control and data collection scheduling to provide reliability and data freshness in UAVs-assisted sensor networks. He was actively involved in the ARNET project, which aimed at developing innovative solutions to enhance network reliability and security in Airborne Relaying NETworks (ARNET).
Before pursuing his doctoral studies, Yousef worked as an IT Manager at enterprise projects, where he maintained and developed IT infrastructure. Yousef has a stellar academic background, including a bachelor's degree in computer science from Azad University of Dezful, where he graduated in 2007, and a master's degree in computer networks from Shiraz University of Technology (SUTECH) where he graduated in 2015. Yousef has authored several papers in esteemed conferences and journals and is a reviewer for several renowned conferences and journals, including IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Wireless Communication Magazine, and IEEE Networking Letters.
