Kiran Ali received her master's degree in computer science with specialization in parallel and distributed systems from university of Porto, Portugal in 2013.
In her master's thesis, she studied the performance of data transfer in a grid environment and developed scheduling strategies for data intensive applications to reduce the failure rate.
She also worked as a researcher in CISTER Research Centre during her master's and developed softwares in a VxWork environment. Her area of interest is parallel and distributed systems.
