Ricardo Severino received the EWSN'09 award for best Academic MSc Thesis. See more at http://www.cooperating-objects.eu/events/ewsn-2009-awards/ .

This was part of the participation of CISTER in the EWSN'09/ETTX'09 events (http://www.ewsn.org/). There was also a Tutorial by Mário Alves, a Panel Discussion (including Mário Alves, Adam Wolisz, Andreas Terzis, Cormac Sreenan, a representative from Siemens and Jorge Pereira (CONET PO)).

 
During last week in Cork, our research unit was also present at ETTX (http://sites.google.com/site/ettx2009/). Highlights of our presence include: TinyOS ZigBee WG presentation, by Anis; open-ZB Poster; H-NAMe Demo, by Ricardo Severino.
