The WFCS workshop is the largest IEEE technical event dedicated to industrial communication systems. The aim of this workshop is to provide a forum for researchers, practitioners and developers to review current trends in this area and to present and discuss new ideas and new research directions.
The work-in-progress of the 7th IEEE International Workshop on Factory Communication Systems is devoted to the presentation of new and ongoing research in the workshop's topics presented below, with the primary objective to provide researchers with the opportunity to discuss their recent ideas and gather feedback from the factory communication community.
Contributors will be asked to give a short presentation of their work and to prepare a poster for the discussion forum that will be held after the presentations. Accepted submissions will be included in the workshop proceedings.
