Joachim Freitag, Siemens, Germany

Dipl.-Ing. (Univ.) Joachim Freitag studied electrical engineering at the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen (Germany). Since 1997 he is working for Siemens AG A&D as a Product Manager for Software. His special areas are modern technologies as Java and Internet for the PC-compatible computers in the industrial automation, called SICOMP. He is responsible for the new real-time Java Technology based on RMOS, the Siemens real-time operating system.
